TAEKWONDO CANADA RELEASES NEW 2021-2024 STRATEGIC PLAN

Taekwondo Canada, the National Governing Body for the sport in Canada is pleased to unveil its new 2021-2024 Strategic Plan.

This plan which outlines the vision for Taekwondo Canada, was done in consultation with major stakeholders from across the country, is comprehensive in its scope and outlines a pathway for success as the organization moves through the next Olympic Cycle encompassing both Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024.

The plan includes new Mission, Vision and Values for Taekwondo Canada as well as key pillars which include: Organizational Excellence, Financial Sustainability, Knowledge and High Performance. All of which will be aligned with Key Performance Indicators, allowing the organization to focus on yearly operational accomplishments. 

In unveiling the 2021-24 Strategic Plan, Taekwondo President Kee Ha stated:

“We are proud to present this plan to all members and participants within Taekwondo in Canada. We believe that the goals set forth in the plan will equate to success for our sport in the years to come”.

Taekwondo Canada Executive Director Dave Harris said of the plan,

“I am extremely pleased with the plan which outlines a “Playground to Podium” path for all of our participants within the sport of Taekwondo. Whether you are at the grassroots level or competing in High Performance, I believe this to be a pathway for success for Taekwondo Canada moving forward”
